GAZ Group goes for advanced technology

09.03.2010

Tver Exkavator (TVEKS) and Chelyabinsk Road Construction Machines (CHSDM) have branched out into fundamentally new products

Tver Exkavator introduces the all new TEP-18 excavator-planner. It has a telescopic boom that allows reach in close quarters and limited heights, a rotating bucket, a quick-coupler system with a manual switch-off device to disconnect all the work attachments easily, a number of quick-change attachments (optional) and a valve for hand hydraulic equipment and tools (optional). The TEP-18 excavator-planner has a fuel-saving control system, which saves up to 30% fuel and gives the equipment a longer operating life.

The upgraded CHSDM V-140.1 front loader has a lower steel intensity and a simpler design than the earlier V-140 version. Its mass is 13 tons – that is 1.5 tons less – for a 4 ton load capacity, making the machine indispensible for housing and utilities sector, agriculture and industrial storage. The V-140.1 has an advanced hood design with an easy access to the machine’s main units, a sophisticated frame with an increased ground clearance and modern hydraulic steering gear. All units are Russian-made and of no worse quality than the similar European ones but less expensive.

‘New advanced road-building machinery manufactured at Tver Exkavator witnesses of this GAZ Group factory successful modernization’, Anatoly Bochenkov, Tver region Deputy Governor says.

‘Not even in the financial crisis tough times had we slowed down research and development. With the modern equipment and technologies and competent staff we are happy to present new products meeting the demand of the market’, Sergey Serebryakov, GAZ Group Director for Special Machinery says.
